
Coming from a humble background in a small town Jagdishbhai Trivedi rose from being a small-time roadside photocopy vendor to an international famed artist and philanthropist. At the age of 58, Jagdishbhai has written 82 books and have given programs to live audiences in countries like US, UK, Canada, China, Belgium, Kinshasa, Tanzania, UAE, Oman, Portugal. With over 3500 shows including 1000+ in US, Jagdishbhai has so far made 77 trips abroad for his shows.
On his 50th birthday, Trivedi pledged his entire future income to charity. Jagdishbhai was lauded by Prime Minister Modi during his radio podcast ‘Mann Ki Bat’, where Modi spent 3:45 minutes describing the efforts of Trivedi. Trivedi has lived by his pledge donating over Rs. 13.5 crores. Apart from receiving one of India’s highest civilian award Padma Shri, Trivedi has been honoured with the highest recognition in India for individuals in performing arts, Akademi Purashkar, and several other honours and awards.
